Crystal Mountain Resort sits on 1,500 acres in Thompsonville, Michigan, in the heart of Benzie County. It's been a year-round destination since the 1950s — skiing in winter, golf in summer — and the golf operation has grown into one of the most complete resort experiences in the Midwest.
The resort offers 36 holes across two courses: the Mountain Ridge Course, a challenging layout that winds through the natural terrain of the Crystal Mountain property, and the Betsie Valley Course, a more open design that rewards accuracy over power. Together they give golf groups plenty to work with across multiple days without ever leaving the property.

Crystal Mountain Resort is located at 12500 Crystal Mountain Dr, Thompsonville, MI 49683. Most visitors fly into Cherry Capital Airport (TVC) in Traverse City, roughly 40 minutes to the north, or drive in from Detroit, Chicago, or Grand Rapids. Like most of Benzie County, the surrounding area has no rideshare options — plan your ground transportation before you arrive.
